This is not a competition to find one winner but is intended to provide unsigned and independent recording artists with the opportunity to achieve better promotion direct to promoters, radio DJs, media executives and the listening public with promotion online and in print and through local fm stations.  At the same time it is intended that participating recording studios and associated professionals will derive recognition for their work in helping artists to achieve their goals.
 
The sponsors and co-sponsors from across the music industry will be awarding prizes from instruments to sound gear, recording and production services and other incentives as they see fit during the course of the year.  Entry is free to songwriters with some incentives offered by co-sponsors who are listed on the website.  We accept all genre of music as long as it is original or in the public domain.  Songs may be broadcast on the songwriter showcase and artists may also be featured in Music Maker magazine, hence all entrants can be winners from the publicity provided.
